In terms of hooking up with women, I like thinking of it in 3 steps.
First you have the approach. This is where you actually introduce yourself, and you meet her. Originally, you should only spend a few minutes, find out the basic information you need about her and get to know if she's interested in you. You should look for clues such as eye contact, body language, tonality and other subtle clues to find out if she's interested and worth your time. Sometimes, women will be very aloof in which case they most likely will flake on you and not show up on dates. Don't waste your time after those. Once you find that the girl is interested in you, simply get her number.
Second, you have the actual first date. This is where you get her life story. You should only at the most have one date before you try to escalate things to the bedroom. This may seem as fast, but if you actually know what you are doing you can get away with it. On the date you should follow the simple strategy of getting her life story. You let her speak 70% of the time and you speak the rest only. Ask open ended questions and let her talk about herself. She will feel like she has known you for a longer time than she has. This will allow you to escalate and move things at a faster pace than usual.
The third step is the actual escalation. You should invite her to your place for a movie or whatever else you guys would like to do there. When you get at her house you should know that the girl ALREADY has decided she wants to sleep with you. It's just a matter of WHETHER OR NOT YOU WILL BE MAN ENOUGH TO ESCALATE.
If the woman allows herself to go to a stranger's home whom she has just barely met, then she must be attracted to you on a strong level. All you need to do is kiss her and lead her into the gateways of pleasure.
