As we get older sometimes we lose our sex drive. This is sometimes due to a lack of good nutrition, busy lifestyle and often due to stress. Many women will lose their sex drive after having a baby as they are most likely not getting enough sleep and will generally be lacking in energy in all aspects of life.

1. Music. There is a big range of relaxation music available and just by having some relaxing music playing in the background can help you to feel less stressed and more relaxed. Often just playing your favourite music can help you to de-stress.
2. Time out. Everyone seems to have such busy lifestyles these days and most people don't take time out for themselves. Especially if you are a Mother you will likely devote every waking minute to your family. It is important to take some time out for yourself, even if it is just a 10 minute walk or a relaxing bath. This time out will help not only yourself to feel more relaxed in general, but it will help you be more effective in other areas of your life.
3. Meditation. Meditation can be difficult at first as you learn to truly relax, but just 10 to 15 minutes of meditation every day can make an amazing difference to the way that you feel. You will feel refreshed and ready to tackle anything that comes your way.
4. Exercise. Often we just don't have time to exercise and so it is always being put off until tomorrow. Exercise is very important however to your health and well being and daily exercise will help you to deal with life and stress more effectively.
5. Keeping stress bottled up inside you will make you feel more stressed as time goes on. If you feel awkward talking to people about what is causing you stress, then try writing it down. Keep a diary where you can write down all your thoughts and feelings. By getting your feelings out, even on paper, will help to release some of the tension from your body.
6. Find a hobby. Hobbies are a great way to take your mind of whatever is causing you stress. Hobbies can help to relax your mind and give it a break from the serious things in life.
7. Treat yourself to something special. Every now and then you deserve to treat yourself. Whether you go out for lunch, have a massage, or even just a box of chocolates. Know that you deserve to be spoiled and give yourself a treat.
By introducing some of these methods into your lifestyle and making them part of your daily routines will make an enormous difference in the way you feel and in the way you deal with the stresses of life.
Reducing the stress in your life and learning to handle stress better will give you a happier outlook, more energy and definitely will improve your sex drive.
